Types of Households III. Proposal 1. Most communities can use a literacy program and this might be a good idea for a student to suggest. 2. Currently, United  Way of Passaic County embraces a program called Literacy Connection. 3. There are many students who fall through the cracks and while they may be able to get away with  a low level of reading in high school, they will not be able to do the same in college. 4. Reading proficiency in the country. IV. Conclusion  1. Generally speaking, literacy is an important goal. 2. This effort will go a long way to create a region that is not only urban, diverse and on  the cutting edge, but one that will fare well when it comes to business and academic competition. In  a case study submitted by a student, it is suggested that an academic funding committee convene to look to meet a need in Passaic county. It is further suggested  that the approval of a proposal would allow students access to additional scholarship moneys. Such a financial award could help students to further their education, according to the case study.  Students applying for the money will have to submit an application inclusive of their proposals, academic backgrounds which will ensue in a discussion to further ambitions and plans for  applying their education in the local community. Before making a proposal for the county, it pays to look at the school system as a whole as well as community demographics.
