    It has a 22 year history and boasts many members throughout the nation that work at all levels of public policy (2003). The organization brings to light six  core issues that need Biblical principles, most and which the members believed can have the greatest impact on the nation (2003). It has a unique blend of policy experts in  addition to a network of lay people (2003). One might call it a grass movement but it has seemingly become larger than that. In viewing the information at their  web site, it appears that the perceived mission is to bring wholesome values to the nation and get rid of negative influences that are contained in music and television shows  today. The organization is pro-life and so supports an anti-abortion stance. Hence, issues often involve sex, sexuality and a desire to evoke abstinence and good morals in young people today.  Other issues may involve warning labels on CDs where lyrics are objectionable. The spirit of CWA goes to the idea that people be warned that the popular culture is not  necessarily good for children and adolescents and that mothers need to take a stand. To some extent, the organizations name does accurately describe the organizations mission.  When one hears the name, and also has the information that the women are associated with a religious cause, one can easily discern their agendas. They are concerned about the  changes they have seen in society such as a relaxation of mores in terms of dress, music and popular culture. They are concerned, and they are female. This is a  statement that could possibly be confused with the feminist agenda. Their ideas are in fact often juxtaposed to feminist causes. The name Concerned Women for America does not imply that
