This is a very important issue to study because currently the system is quite dysfunctional. Organizations in Bahrain have had to suffer the effects of accumulated bad debts, which
leave them options such as suing, although such options are costly, time consuming and typically ineffective. Other options such as writing off bad debts has also proved ineffective,
since this is highly dependent upon each organizations particular policies. If there were an effective credit bureau in place, these options
would not be necessary to the current extent, since organizations would have a reliable means of evaluating potential customers and determining their level of associated risk. Furthermore, there are
a plethora of other benefits in regards to the sharing of information which would occur between organizations through participation in the credit bureau. Literature Review What Credit
