    as an important part of the analysis, it pays to note that there is a very diverse workforce and while there are a great many people from different backgrounds at  Bellsouth, no one is Japanese. This makes for an interesting mix. If a new head of a company were to come from a land where no one is from, how  might employees react? First, for those who are used to diversity and are not prejudiced, there would be no problem, but some will hold certain stereotypes to be accurate. This  could cause problems. For example, Asians are viewed as being very good at math. It may be that the new CEO has a weakness in math and so that stereotyped  idea will only cause problems if held as fact. Assuming that there is no problem in respect to prejudice or stereotyping, one might suggest that an individual who is  going to head the firm will bring certain attributes to the company that is indicative of the culture. Japanese business culture is notorious for being very friendly and clean.  People are also polite. This means that the company head will expect the people to serve the customers well and so, it may just be that the customer service department  gets an overhaul. In fact, many firms today are criticized for giving shoddy customer service. Japanese culture, if the new CEO will adopt this type of methodology, will make sure  that customer service representatives are trained to be very kind and considerate to the consumers who call in. The attitude will also translate to company meetings and executives should have  a more formal, polite attitude than what sometimes occurs at American meetings. Also, in Japanese culture, the old corporate model where trust is an issue, and good employees are valued,
