Point one: Commercialization of cartoons. Example: Power Rangers, Pokemon Point Two: Overt messages sent by modern cartoons. Example: Disneys gender biases,  and racial stereotypes Point Three: The continued proliferation of violence in cartoons, organizations combating this trend, and possible solutions to the problem. CONCLUSION: In todays day and age, it can  be said that there is a battle for the imaginations and personality of the nations most precious resource, the young. So many times the often repeated clich? that the children  are the hope for tomorrow falls on deafened and apathetic ears. But the reality is, that the investment made in the children today, pays off for the seniors of tomorrow.  VIOLENCE IN CHILDRENS PROGRAMING The prevailing mantra of the Catholic Church has always been, Give us a child until he is seven and hell be a Catholic for  life, meaning that the early concepts and temperament of a child are solidified during those first seven critical years.
