Luxury Cars Are Safer Vehicles One of the most important benefits to owning a luxury  car is that they are safer than compact cars. First of all, they are safer due to their size alone. A luxury car is going to be bigger,  and therefore heavier, than a compact car, and this leads to a safer vehicle in the event of an accident. The heavier the vehicle the less likely it  is to hurt the occupants inside, the less likely it is to tip over, the less likely it is to crush upon impact, etc. The heaviness of the car  also makes it less likely to be as affected by a hit because it requires more force to move a heavier object. Furthermore, in terms of safety, luxury cars typically  have lots of "gadgets" - many of which lead to safer driving. For example, one of the newest features on luxury cars is the GPS (global positioning) systems.  The driver simply presses a button inside the car and is immediately connected to an operator who can locate the exact position of the driver via satellite. The driver  can then use the operators help to find their way to a particular destination, advise them they are out of gas or having car trouble, etc. Imagine running  out of gas in the middle of nowhere - yet if your car was equipped with a GPS system, this wouldnt be a problem. You could instantly connect with  someone and tell them your problem. Furthermore, dont worry if you forgot what the last exist was you passed or have no idea what street you are on -
