    for equality, none more so than that of interpersonal relationships and the dynamics involved therein. Many women, either willingly or without recourse, found themselves the victim of the Glass Slipper  Syndrome. What is the Glass Slipper Syndrome? Consider the old Grimms Brothers Fairy tale. The beautiful young maiden is used and abused until her prince rescues her from her life  of obscurity. Willingly, Cinderella offers, even fights for the right, to try on the glass slipper that will indicate that she is the princes true love. This is the  same type of mentality that many women, it can be said, still play to, even on a subconscious level. This mind set can be said to be a serious threat  to any concrete change or shift in perspectives where a male/female relationship exists. Take for example the goal of many young co-eds these days. If asked where they see themselves  five years from their college lives, fully two thirds of them would mention married as one of the ultimate goals. In past years this was one of the only  goals that young women had when they went to college. Then, having found themselves locked into a relationship, she realized that her husband was no prince, their life wasnt happily  ever after, and the castle needed to be cleaned. The whole fantasy fell down around the ears of many housewives in the fifties and sixties, so that it can be  stated that the seventies saw Cinderellas by the thousands, taking their bibbledy bobblty boos out of the castle for good. But what did they expect to find once they left  the castle? As a matter of fact, Cinderellas story has always bothered me in that it seems to end too soon. The fact that she has been rescued by her
