The operational definitions for this study derive from the fact that "To demonstrate entertainment education effects, researcher must first indicate that participants have been exposed to their program" (Farr, et  al, 2005, p. 226). Reliability for the study was high due to the implementation of a consensus method. Validity was also high as the researchers instituted an assessment of participant  honesty in their responses, as part the interview process included asking if the participant had listened to a non-existent radio show. If the participant indicated that he or she had  listened to the radio show, specific questions about content were asked. Reliability was also addressed by changing the area of study within the listening area on a monthly basis, which  decreased the "potential for practice effects, expectations bias or respondent fatigue" (Farr, et al, 2005, p. 229). In rounds 4 and 6, the reliability analysis was conducted. Intercoder reliability  was calculated for the first open-ended question and found to be high (R=.97 for found 4; 4=.96 for round 6). For the second question, which asked respondents to relate what  happened on the radio show that day, responses were 100 percent correct. Li, Chen, and Kuo (2005) : The purpose of this study was to explore how elderly individuals  in the Taipei district of Peitou understand health status and address it with health promotion behavior. This topic determined the selection of the study instrument, which was originally designed to  measure the home care needs of spinal cord injury patients. As this research as addressing a far different group of respondents, using expert advice, 5 questions on patient mobility were  deleted and 14 questions relating to heath status were inserted. The Content Validity Index (CVI) for the study averaged 3.7, with this measurement based upon the questions "propriety, relevance,
