The one bright spot in the US economy during the post-9/11 recession was that of new home construction. The Federal Reserve kept interest rates  at their lowest point in more than 40 years, encouraging builders and families to take on mortgages at less interest than their parents paid for theirs. Decorating is a  fact of moving, particularly when that move is an upward one as has been the case for so many new home owners in the recent past. The purpose here  is to weigh the rod-pocket drapery industry against that comprised of wood, glue and staples. Customer Issues Rod-pocket draperies are available at every  home improvement, department and discount store in the country, but commercially-available products often do not meet the specific needs of customers. The wood, glue and staple industry has a much  wider range of applications and is not even limited according to exterior or interior uses. Though many people do their own home sewing, many more undertake do-it-yourself projects involving  wood and construction of some type.
