Indeed, both the buyers and seller were more than willing to have as short an escrow  as possible so that the deal could close right away. Carrie went to the mortgage lender the very next day to prequalify for the home loan; when the loan  officer pulled up the obligatory credit check, her face did not reflect good news. It appeared that Carries personal credit history had been less than stellar, with perpetual late  pays and a defaulted automobile loan. While these items were not the best reflection of her responsibility, thought Carrie, they surely would not preclude her from buying her home!  However, that is precisely what happened; due to Carries past history of poor credit managing -- her husband could not qualify solely on his income -- the loan company  refused to take a chance on her. In todays society, if an individual has not established a good credit rating with the three primary credit bureaus, there is little of  value that this individual will be able to purchase or acquire. Credit has completely transformed the world into a cashless society; those who have not built up or taken  care of their credit rating can expect to find doors closed in their faces when applying for such important commodities as insurance, homes and even employment. I. INSURANCE Insurance  has become such an integral component of everyday life that it is odd to find someone who does not have some type of coverage. From health to car to  home, there is virtually nothing that cannot be insured; however, just because there is need for insurance does not automatically mean that the individual will qualify.
