appear to be important in the outcome of treatment. To test this two hypothesises were formed, the first was that these non specific factors, such as the relationship between the  therapist and the patient would be perceived by the patient as more important than the therapists technical or professional skills, the second hypothesis was to support this. If the first  was true, then there should be no difference between different therapies, hence the study may use of both behavioural and psychotherapy. In considering the study there are several points  that need to be considered. For a study to be seen as valid the resech needs to be conducted ethically as well as in a manner where there is a  reduction of bias in the way that tools are used. The use of statistical analysis is a sound method of analysing data. However, the reliability of results will only be  as reliable as their outcomes. The hypothesis was proven true with no statically significant deviations. However, to understand this and place it into a broader context the methodology needs to  be carefully considered. The design of the questionnaires is one that has several safeguards. A range of questions were deigned in a style to be clear and unbiased. These were  then categories by qualified psychologies into one of three groups, behavioural therapy, psychotherapy, and the non-specific elements of the therapy. The patents were asked to categories how important each element  was. Questions were only used if 75% of those assessing the questions agreed on the classification into one of these three areas. There were then an equal number of questions  (6) in each section. This indicates a well though out and unbiased questionnaire. It may be queried why the assessors of the questionnaire were all only in one field,
