    this we can poem a SWOT analysis so that there is a good overview and we can use this to develop the solution, building of the strengths and using opportunities  while reducing weaknesses and minimising threats. Strengths include level of knowledge regarding the systems that must exist if there are employees who have been doing the job for  twenty years, with knowledge that is only gained through experience. This also indicates that the company may have a low staff turnover so the teams many be well established. This  is also indicated with both teams have distinct culture. The different team cultures may be seen as one of the main weaknesses. Other  weaknesses may also be the team shift pattern, with one shift finishing an hour before the next begins there is no cross over time so the team members of each  shift do not get the chance to know each other which can also result in a lack of communication and commitment to the same goals. This also acts as a  way of separating the supervisors who would benefit from communicating. The staff that have been doing the job for twenty years may also be disaffected if they have not got  on, demotivated and may also be set in their ways, an attitude which can spread to other team members. There also appear to be different work practices between the two  teams. There are opportunities. Communication needs to be increased so there is the potential to allow the team members to meet and  communicate. There is the hour between shifts that is not currently used, but as thee company only works limited hours the potential for out of work hours events to increase
