    muddled. In a hypothetical situation, an individual named Marla Clark is a supervisor for a section in a large accounting firm. She has twelve people under her watch and she  is responsible for the individual employees work as well as all of their needs as employees of the firm. The people in the section are fairly friendly with one another  and is comprised of six young individuals--four women and two men--and six more experienced individuals. The older employees consist of two who are near retirement and the four others are  middle age females who have families. The work is distributed amongst the workers fairly, but an issue has cropped up in recent days and Marla has been asked to speak  to some of the younger people due to their untoward behavior in the workplace. While some of the complaints have been petty as others comment about latenesses, unexcused absences as  well as the use of offensive language, the individuals who range in age from twenty to twenty-six do have a problem on their hands. There has been one serious discovery  and an individual named Thomas Brown may be in jeopardy of losing his job. After not being able to make headway by speaking with these individuals who seem to  stay out late, arrive to work late and look disheveled, a new situation presents itself that could change everything. One morning Marla opened an unlocked drawer that was present in  one of the employees desks. A small amount of marijuana was discovered. The ethical and legal dilemma that this supervisor faces is that the employee is in possession of an  illegal substance. This puts the firm at risk. Many questions erupt as to whether or not the supervisor is right in reporting the offense to the police and whether
