might hold. The student might also wish to add that trying to predict the future of human kind is a lot like the crystal balls of the gypsy medium variety:
all glass, smoke and distorted images. So where are we headed? In many respects, the student may wish to say, humankind has been the same since achieving consciousness thousands of
years ago. According to every ancient text available, greed, avarice, hatred, jealousy, love, compassion, and acts of courage have abounded with very little change, despite the advent of newer technologies
and innovations. It is safe to assume, then, that despite the changes that may occur in the environment of the future, that humankind as a species will not alter too
much from the original norm. That may be due to the inherent dynamic of the human emotional element. What will change in regard to human relationships, one might say, is
the roles that shift and change between the sexes. Men and women, it can be foretold, will more and more shift roles of caregiver, provider, and decision maker. While it
will always be the case that one partner will dominate(otherwise there is no harmony) the personality coming out on top may tend to become more female oriented in nature. This
having been said, it is easy to contemplate a greater role in political matters and governance for women in the future. One would certainly hope that the ugly tendency
for prejudice would lift, or dissolve away, but it can be said that as long as human beings exist, there will always be a tendency for grouping. This is instinctual,
