    on fair representation in Islamic nations. With fair representation on a political scale, the West could better understand the ideals of Islam which the West now consider negative. In fact,  Islam could offer a positive impact on the current process of globalization since it effects all of humanity and so does the components of Islam. Islamic faith addresses concepts of  peace, equality and human rights which need to be considered during the process of globalization which is now currently focused on economic and technological factors. With the inclusion of the  components of Islam in the process of globalization, world wide communities could benefit from globalization instead of feeling a negative or exploitive impact.  In many ways, globalization has been seen as counter-Islam in that globalization is essentially about expanding the economic circle in the world and in doing this works against many social,  spiritual and cultural elements currently in place in Islamic faith. On Sohail Inayatullahs essay on "Islamic Civilization in Globalization" he also adds that globalization is "also a continuation of social  Darwinism, that the fittest - the most entrepreneurial - should lead the world" and globalization "continues the ideal of progress, of creating the perfect society, the positivist/scientific world, or forever  removing religion and irrationality from human history" (Inayatullah, 2002). The ideals of globalization are also predominantly those of the West, Western faiths and Western technology and in many ways,  the latest trend of technology that of genetic engineering leads people of Islamic faith from the East to wonder what Western elements of genetic engineering will be promoted and which  elements will be ignored? While much of globalization is focused on the technological advances which occur, there are also other factors of globalization to consider, namely: globalization of the human
