whose childrens overall development is compromised by economic burden. Funding objective is to subsidize forty-five children with 50% coverage of daily costs based upon a $30 per day rate  for a three-month period for a total of $10,125. II. NEED Todays typical family is made up of two working parents and  a child or two in either the public or private school system. If those children are old enough to tend to their own personal daily needs, the pressure is  significantly reduced from the parents long list of responsibilities; however, if even one happens to be too young for school, he or she requires round-the-clock supervision that the two busy  parents just cannot provide. This is where childcare comes in, offering supervised sessions that are educational, socially productive and mentally stimulating. While this option is ideal for parents,  it also presents a significant financial strain for many who are already on a tight budget. Subsidizing through grant funding better equips parents to provide childcare during their busy  workday, as well as have the peace of mind that their children are receiving the necessary mental, physical and emotional stimulation so critical to the formative years. The stimulation  provided by interaction with other children is essential if they are to acquire various social skills; toddlers need a steady dose of play in order to develop speech, social and  motor skills. This becomes even more critical if the toddler is an only child and does not have regular interaction with other children. Parents have a responsibility to  make sure the toddler receives this stimulation; however, financial concerns often stand in the way of enrolling in structured childcare. III. GOAL
