    Exquisite Auto Salon will be another, separate business founded by proven business owner and manager. Exquisite Auto Salon will provide automobile cleaning and detailing services to the local  community of Mamaroneck, New York. The Current Situation In past years, car owners typically did not keep their cars for many years.  Those purchasing new cars generally did not intend to keep them past the time the then-standard five-year warranty expired. Later - particularly after the one-year warranty became standard -  it was common for purchasers of new cars never to be without a car payment to make. Those purchasing the cars that these individuals traded in or sold merely  bought used cars; there was not much incentive to keep them as nice as possible. Aficionados who collected specific models or dabbled in restoration generally prefer to perform their  own auto detailing work. Today, the situation is very different. Leasing is a common alternative to purchasing a new car outright, and  those leasing cars are required to keep them in as close to new condition as possible. Part of that includes maintaining the interior with as much dedication as ensuring  that oil changes are made according to schedule. Many of those buying new cars on a straight purchase intend to keep the vehicles for as long as they remain  dependable. Because cars no longer are viewed as "disposable" items, those owning them have greater interest in ensuring that they remain in as close to new condition as possible.  Auto detailing shops quite often were little more than car washes in the past, gaining an occasional customer requesting "the works."
