The specific assignment for which the students is to develop this paper involves presenting a problem or hypothesis based on existing literature  in the area of the physiologic basis of animal behavior. For purposes of this paper, we have selected the as the specific animal and will focus on the question  of why, exactly caps purr -- which represents the physiological behavior. In attempting to crafts essay, we will first present a thesis  statement or theme; follow it up with literature review; examined methods taken; employ a discussion about both literature and research and then and the paper with the conclusion paragraph.  In developing a thesis statement for such paper, the student must first place into context the issuer problem that is being researched.  For example, in this case, such an opening paragraph could involve the fact that almost everyone knows that caps purr. All cats, from the small house cat to the Bengal  tiger purr -- many like outboard motors. For many, many years, most people have assumed that a cats purr is a sign  of contentment and happiness. After all, cats always seem to purr while on laps or in comfortable positions. Mother cats also purr when feeding their young. But  scientists have realized that this is not always the case. Frequently, caps purr when they are anxious or in pain. In addition to purring while she feeds her  babies, the mother cat purrs while she gives birth as well. None of these situations suggest contentment or happiness. Based on
