    their primary role is seen as being wives and mothers, as such they have a very different role from men. The statement made is that there is no objection to  women being educated, but this should not detract women from their primary task. The argument is framed in the context of God and nature which is used as a justification  for approach, which may also be perceived as s referring to the biological differences between men and women. It is argued that this role for women is that which is  needed by society. Therefore, the role of women is of carers and to reproduce. Question 1 (b) The Plight of Women Martha Dodds account of life in  Germany indicates that women have few rights and are being seen as a source of children to proliferate the German race. The women are denied a meaningful education, after 11  years being taught only how to look after themselves so that they are fit and able to be able to bear as many children as possible, as well as being  taught to be loyal socialism. If they are not bearing children then they are limited to hard labour activities, they are unable to exert any political influence with a situation  where womens rights appeared not only to be low but also diminishing with plans in place to deprive women even of the right to vote. Question 2 - The  Hitler Youth The origins and aims of the Hitler youth may have been to create a new generation of the type of citizens that Hitler wanted to support and follow  him to help him realise his socialist ideals; effectively creating a strong, well trained and very obedient army that could do the bidding of Hitler.
