to academic achievement is supported by a slew of statistics. Homeschool students are compared to their pubic school peers. Bibliography lists 5 sources. SA123hom.rtf The subject  of homeschool versus public school, or even private school, has always been heated. Critics of homeschooling contend that the children are not properly socialized and will not be as competent  as those who are taught in schools that are designed to prepare children for college and career.
