    this survey is why, how and where people have learned to fly and how becoming a pilot has helped them better appreciate being an airline passenger. In order to  craft questions for this paper, we have researched background information from three web sites that deal with learning how to fly. The web sites are listed at the end  of this paper. * Are you a licensed pilot? If no, are you a student learning to fly? * How long have you been a licensed pilot? * What type  of planes are you licensed to fly? * Do you own your own plane? * When did you realize you wanted to fly? * How old were you when you  realized you wanted to fly?
