    /aftersale.htm -- properly! Introduction There have been many great minds, throughout time, who have focused on peace. They have argued  in various ways that peace is a possibility, and they have come up with different theories, and with various ways in which such peace could be attained. Still, peace remains  an allusive reality as people struggle for what they feel should be theirs, governmentally or personally. s we shall see, many have, and still do, argue that a non violent  approach to life is perhaps the best and only way to achieve peace. Some of the greatest minds addressing peace have been Ghandi and Martin Luther King Jr., with  more modern advocates being Mathew Griffin, Susan Griffin, and Michael Nagler. Each of these individuals has gone about seeking peace in their own manner, although they all seem to possess  the notion that violence is a large cause of unrest and a world that is not at peace. We note that Ghandi was a firm advocate of non violence,  believing that if people just ceased using violence to gain whatever it is they wanted, then the world would become a more peaceful place. This is perhaps the essential argument  of all the others being mentioned as well. Martin Luther King Jr., when other African Americans were busy being angry and violent, chose to address the issue of civil rights  along with the rights of all men and women, advocating non violence and a level of acceptance. In accepting other people, not merely tolerating them, we could perhaps experience peace.  Unfortunately, Ghandi and Martin Luther King Jr. suffered at the hands of violent people who could not foresee a world of peace. They saw such advocates of peace as
