new ethical and moral questions are raised. However, one must also consider the vast number of benefits to this technology which could revolutionize the way our world works.  Already, there have been so many advancements and so many real-life applicable situations where genetics issues actually affect our lives.  Therefore, it is important to understand how DNA testing as a means of identification can actually benefit us and society as a whole. While the whole process may seem  intimidating or unnatural, once the benefits are revealed it is easy to see why this technology exists and how it can help the world. The Benefits of Using  DNA as an Identification Tool DNA is our own individual code, and what makes each person "one of a kind" (Teoh, 2002).  Clearly, although this explanation is very simplified, this information has unlimited potential (Teoh, 2002). There are a vast array of uses for such information, and some of those  are very positive and very productive for society while others are not. There is also a lot of gray area in between where many people struggle with the ethical  and moral implications of such technology. However, overall, it is clear that using DNA as an identification tool is notably better for society than not using it.  There are so many ways which DNA testing can be used as an identification tool and so many benefits to its use.  While DNA testing is actually already being done, just imagine the possibilities of using this technology on a much broader scale and with many more potential avenues to explore.
