    but many criticized it and said that they just could not find a way to make money from it. Soon, that concept changed radically as brick and mortar stores began  to have an Internet presence and soon, e-businesses would spring up. These businesses were also called Internet start-ups. They did no business outside of the net and few knew what  they were really made of. In fact, the appearance of e-commerce in the world is something that is now taken for granted. People simply are thankful for the newer and  newer computer models which surface, and shrug off the inundation of e-commerce related television commercials and banner advertisements on the net. It has been predicted that a quarter  of all U.S. business-to-business purchasing will be done online by the year 2003 ("One Quarter," 2000). At a congressional hearing, it was noted that e-commerce is indeed changing the world  ("Electronic," 1999). And e-commerce is being used in innovative ways to increase business by some companies ("Electronic Commerce: Telecoms," 1999). It was also noted at the congressional hearing, that the  ability to do business over digital networks had already begun to transform the way Americans work, learn, shop and play ("Electronic," 1999). And the transformation is expected to become even  more important as the twenty-first century unfolds (1999). While it seems as if the growth of the industry will enhance business and make life easier for many, it is sometimes  difficult for marketers from the old school to get on board and sell their wares in a new medium. In looking at research methodology for an internet site, one has  to wonder which method is best. Using a site, and a target market, which methods will work best? One can look to the old Neilson ratings still, or SRI, or
