The large amount of "white space" around the lists of links facilitates readable, and allows the user to  quickly comprehend how the page is set-up. Column headings, such as national and in international culture, are in black with click-able links in red below for various medieval societies. Links  were tried at random and all worked, connecting instantly. The "point of view" for this site appears to be to provide resources for a academic studies of the medieval  period aimed at the undergraduate level and beyond. In other words, this is no a site for high school students but rather is aimed at higher levels of education  and at helping the academic professional in this field. In fact that information page concerning medieval studies at George town university states that students in which program are sought after  by other programs as experts in medieval custom. Each category on the main Labyrinth page links to pages that have extensive links for that particular subject. For instance,  "music" on the main page links with a "medieval music" page that has links to roughly thirty Internet sites specializing in medieval music. This sites can be quite  specific. For instance, theres a link to Malaspina Universitys "Medieval Music before 1450" page. There are links to pages specializing in the medieval cultures of the Byzantines, Celtics,  Anglo-Saxons, English (1066-1500), French, German Iberian, Italian and Scandinavian cultures. Links to sites specializing in Arthurian studies, heraldry and the Crusades. There are direct links to medieval manuscripts and also  to numerous journal and reviews specializing in various aspects of medieval research. Theres also a search function that offers a list of possible sites for finding the keywords specified. In
