It is a wondrous network of computers that allows one to hook  up with all sorts of sites and talk to people through typing or with the use of little cameras or voice software. Computers are so sophisticated that soon true cyber-sex  could be a reality and so full relationships are possible through the cold computer wires. Also, people fall in love on line and then meet in person. Sometimes such relationships  work and sometimes they do not. However, if one does acknowledge that people actually hook up online, then one has to also agree that people can fulfill their desire for  travel via the Internet as well. After all, the Internet allows one to access many databases and much information about different lands. If the impulse to travel is based on  the desire to learn about new places, to meet people in foreign places, and see things around the world, the Internet can fulfill such a desire for just pennies instead  of thousands of dollars. But of course anyone who has been on a vacation can attest to the fact that seeing things on the screen is quite different from being  at a location in reality. When at a new location, one can use all of his or her senses including both sight and sound, which is further enhanced by tactile  stimulation and the senses of taste and smell.
