/aftersale.htm At one point, relieving the pain of interstitial cystitis was considered next to impossible. There were very  few medicines or supplements on the market to take care of the problem. The only recourse for many sufferers of this condition was an extremely restrictive diet. These days, research  is starting to pinpoint some drugs that can help treat the symptoms, if not the problem. There are also nutritional supplements - such as calcium - that can help alleviate  discomfort of the patient who might be suffering from interstitial cystitis. Although much of the research is unpublished - and a good deal of it is anecdotal - there is  likely enough to more fully explore the link between calcium products and interstitial cystitis. This paper will attempt to link these two elements, with help from articles and abstracts, to  determine if more research should be conducted on the use of calcium in treatment of this disease.
