of breast cancer in Ghana. To explore the knowledge, attitude, behaviour and breast cancer screening practices primary research has been undertaken by the student. To allow the student to format  their own report and make the relevant links the data created will be analyzed by looking at each question. The sample is made up of female respondents in Ghana  spread over two locations. A range of questions were asked in order to explore the different perceptions and attitudes with many questions left open in order to gain more spontaneous  results, the answers to these questions were subsequently coded. A total of 474 responses were obtains, although not all questions were answered in all responses, but this does not  invalidate the responses. 70.9% (n=336) were at location one and 29.1% (n=138) were at location two. The age of the respondents were between 40 and over 65, a mean or  median age is not possible to give as exact ages are not given, only age groups. The largest group of respondents were those in the age group 40 - 45  years and then a gradual decline which may be seen as matching the general population pattern of the area (World Bank Policy Research Report, 2002).
