Society has long been transfixed with the aspect of advancement; ever since Galileos discovery of scientific proof, the world has feverishly  continued down the path of progression. Indeed, the vast majority of mans inventions and discoveries since Galileos time has been beneficial to his existence; however, contemporary society is bringing  to light the very real possibility that possessing too much knowledge can actually be a dangerous concept for the worlds survival. "What was thought to be the suppression of  nature for the good of humankind has been so successful that it has brought enormous challenges which are a consequence of humankinds own actions" (Is Knowledge Power?).  Galileo was very steeped within the science of world definition; indeed, he found no place for the unknown - the belief in those things that could  not be seen, felt or proven by scientific means. Not content to blindly believe in that which he could not prove, Galileo was considered one of the greatest thinkers  of all time who was a significant proponent of science and belief in all things that could be explained with a scientific idea. Galileos precedence setting discovery of obtaining  scientific proof over mere conjecture has led subsequent researchers to push what some believe is the envelope of dangerous and uncharted boundaries, such as with the hotly debated issue of
