Angeles community. In an effort to respond to the immediate needs of Skid Row residents, a number of charitable networks have been established with the intent of providing resources,
skills, and basic necessities to the people who so desperately need them. As the population of Los Angeles continues to
grow, so too does the Skid Row population, and homelessness is now rampant in the area as are the problems which are associated with homelessness. Skid Row is almost
a world unto itself, and certainly a place most would prefer not to be. It is therefore important to understand the scope of the problem and to consider how
