the force increases. The average morality of police officers with more than five years experience on the job will be lower than a similar sample of civilian adults.  This paper includes an overview of the hypothesis, a statement of purposes, a review of the literature, the methodology used to collect the statistical evidence and the results of that  evidence. OVERVIEW By using a standard defining issue test with a survey of ethical standards, the purpose of this paper will be to prove our hypothesis that  policemen, after spending five years or more on the job often have less morals than a similar sampling of civilian adults. The review of literature will give an  idea of the research already done on this subject as well as an idea as to what the results might turn out to be. The statement of purpose will  define why we are doing this test as well as what we hope to learn, and what will be done after this information is actually assimilated. The actual  data will be collected using two methods, and these methods will be described in detail under the section entitled methodology. This will include not only the types of tests  that are administered but to what part of the population they are administered as well as control groups. The results are expected to support our hypothesis but that will be  seen after the actual test results are received back and analyzed. The conclusion will sum up the information we have found and give an idea why this study was  done and what can be done to help correct any problems in the police system of ethics. REVIEW OF LITERATURE This paper uses twenty sources. Those twenty sources
