Lifes Ultimate Questions reflects  the epitome of Newports unrelenting quest for truth, in that its fundamental objective is to both recognize and understand why the world harbors such a vast array of religious beliefs.  II. IS RELIGION PROGRESSIVE? One of the most important points Newport makes throughout Lifes Ultimate Questions is that while man constantly attempts to reinvent religion to suit the particular  time period, the fundamental tenets of Gods influence are unchangeable; that humanity has the audacity to question this truth is part of what compels his never-ending quest to uncover a  better, more applicable religious conviction to his current objectives. "It must be emphasized that the biblical worldview has a basic objectivism . . . The God who is the  center . . . is fully perfect and complete. . . . This means that his nature and revelation reflect norms and values that have permanence. . . .The biblical  worldview also sees truth as unitary. God and reality are what they are, independent of anyones perceiving, understanding, appreciating, or accepting them. The knowers reaction to truth is  important, but the truth is not dependent upon that reaction" (Newport PG).
