include Aristotles Poetics and Umberto Ecos The Name of the Rose. Both of these works address the issue of comedy and reveal some very interesting perceptions on this controversial
topic. The Name of the Rose - Laughter and Comedy According to Baskerville and Jorge Aristotles Poetics is first introduced
in The Name of the Rose by Jorge (Essay on The Name of the Rose). When Jorge was a young man, he left the monastery and returned to his
