    hunters to high level executives find placement. It is a sector that is especially important in todays fledgling economy. With unemployment at a recent high, it seems that these companies  have busy web sites. Unfortunately, jobs are few and far between. Of course, the well known sites like Monster and Hotjobs have placement throughout the nation and are quite popular  with employers. There are other sites that will even place a job hunter internationally. While there are other sites that concentrate on developing career seekers, resolving specific problems such as  checking references and so forth, this investigation will concentrate on the web sites that offer complimentary job listings for the seeker. Each of the sites discussed have various listings, search  engines, search agents and the like. Job hunters can go to any of the named sites and within minutes find job listings for whatever key words they plug in. More  sophisticated searching is available as well. In finding a job, seekers have several options. They can use sites such as Hotjobs and Monster where both primary companies and  headhunters advertise or they can choose an employment agency or headhunter site that might cater to their particular industry. For purposes of this investigation, Monster and Hotjobs will be discussed  along with two more localized companies that post limited employment opportunities. II. Criteria for the Evaluation of Web sites In this competitive climate, even job seekers  are picky. Yes, it is likely they will visit more than one site and not choose one over another, but it is true that the more attractive, easy to manage  sites, will be busier. Which sites are the best? In reading numerous articles, the idea of which sites are best changes with time. Mainstays are again, Monster and Hotjobs, but
