While it is true that domestic violence against men is not as common as domestic violence against women, it is still more prevalent in todays society than most  people realize. Furthermore, the effects are just as damaging and in fact a significant number of men are even killed each year from domestic violence. It therefore is very  important to bring attention to this matter in order that people can discuss it openly and freely. Without candid discussions about domestic violence which is directed toward males, the  problem will not be able to be addressed nor solutions proposed.
