This is  an excellent paper that can be used in many different contexts. THE USES OF TYPOGRAPHY The many different font styles, also known as typography styles, allow the writer  or graphics artist to imbue a certain sentiment or emotion in the project based on the type of font that is used. Some fonts are extremely formal, appearing to  be the type etched in stone, while others are definitely more casual, giving the reader a sense of something fun or less rigid. Depending on the type project  one is working on, the style of typography can make all the difference in how the project is perceived by the reader. By looking at some examples it will  be easy for the student to see that the different styles of font can be used to convey specific emotion even without the reader actually reading the words. If one  were, for example, to see a huge poster printed in a party-style typeface, one would not even need to read it to know that it was a subject that was  on the fun side or celebratory side rather than a formal announcement. One would not use an extremely formal typeface to announce a community party or fun event; it  would just not portray the type of emotion that is necessary to get the readers attention.
