    the beer is also a strong differentiation leading to competitive advantage. * The production is undertaken in an environmentally friendly manner which also adds to the differentiation. *  The commitment to environmentalism was demonstrated to the employees with the shift to the more expensive use of wind power. * The design of new facilities includes many environmental  innovations that increase efficiently. * Many inputs from furniture and carpeting through to packaging and wall hangings were all made from recycles products. * The innovations to cut energy  use have a very short payback period, often within 2 - 3 years, which will mean lower operating costs. * Solid waste is used as feed and sold to local  farmers. * The process used has been able to reduce the usual level of hops used to get the bitter taste. * There is a very committed employee  culture; Kim is the Chairman of Fun. * There has been evidenced with four in brewery wedding, the warehouse managers has even officiated. * The brewery has won a  best midsize brewery award. * There is a high involvement with the local community with $1 per barrel sold given to charities.
