II. BREACHES New technology has taught the global society to appreciate and rethink old  skills, technologies and values. The ways in which this observation is true can fill volumes; however, one only needs to be familiar with but a few examples in order  to understand the role technology has played in recent history with regard to security fraud. Inasmuch as technological diversification has allowed humanity to pursue goals and dreams once thought  to be an impossibility, there seem to be fewer and fewer limits placed upon what mankind can ultimately accomplish. However, the drawback to all this at-the-speed-of-light technology is the  manner by which hackers are more readily able to infiltrate private and often highly confidential information. One of the ways in which technology  is making it increasingly easier for people to live is through the online banking industry, which represents just one sector of commerce where beating the clock and waiting in long  lines are becoming a thing of the past. There is no question that the concept of Electronic Funds Transfer, which has been in the works for over twenty years,  has taken a stronghold upon society with its incredible ease and convenience. The object of the whole system is to one day completely eliminate the use of cash and  paper checks, rendering all retail transactions totally paperless. To be sure, there are a number of advantages to such a system, not the least of which is the potential
