    can sometimes result in difficulties for members f staff who have to face changes in the management under which they work. This is the case with Peggy Martin. Peggy  has worked for a company for three years, she is a single mother of three children and is sometimes not more than 20 minutes late as a result of problems  with the children. This usually only happens twice a week at most. When Mr Joseph was her boss this was not a problem as long as she made up for  the lost time with hard work. Mr Joseph has been promoted and Mr Hayes, her new boss finds this intolerable, has issues Peggy with a written warning and is now  preparing the papers to dismiss her, Peggy does not want to loose her job. To analyse this position we can use a SWOT analysis looking at why Peggy should be  retained. Strengths Peggy Martin has been with the company for three years indicating a level of loyalty. During this time she appears to have been a very good  worker and she also appears to be grateful and appreciate the job with a positive attitude that leads to better productivity. Peggy takes any absences seriously and will often work  through breaks in order to make up any lost time so never costs the firm in terms of lost time. It is also unlikely that these problem are growing to  last for many years as her youngest child is now 9 years of age. In terms of performance Peggy also appears to  be a good employee who works hard, this is indicated by the dedication it takes to work through coffee and lunch breaks when the remaining 12 girls in the same
