There also appears to be a heavy priority placed on  the standard of living that they wish exercise. This is demonstrated with the purchase of the cars and the stereo system, but is not specifically stated. There are  several risks that the Lanes may face, by looking at these individually the different risks faced may be analysed. The first risk may be seen as that of death. Looking  at Mark and Ava as a couple there are some weaknesses in their plans. They are an interdependent couple, with the requirement for both incomes to pay all of the  outgoings. Worryingly their outgoings appear to be slightly more than their income, however, this does include the savings amount, and as wages are set to increase this may not be  as drastic as it appears. This indicates that if one of the couple were to die there would need to be sufficient to pay of a large amount of the  debt. With debt at of $70,039 this would be to create a burden for one to carry. Therefore, each needs sufficient life  insurance initially to pay of their individuals and the joint liabilities. There is also the need for the income in terms of .lifestyle. Therefore, it may also be worse to  look at the way in w which lives may be impacted finically and increase life insurance or assurance in order to allow for a period of income adjustment. The needs  here may also change if there is a family planned. As both parties are 30 they are young enough to start a family. If this is planned then life insurance/assurance
