    the modern world, with the benefit of medical research, it has been firmly established that smoking tobacco products, such as cigarettes or a pipe, is very bad for the health.  For example, globally 96% of cases of lung cancer are directly attributable to smoking (WHO, 2003). In addition there are many other conditions which are associated with smoking  other directly or indirectly. The problem with tobacco is that smoking it is addictive so many that want to give up find that they cannot. The aspect of addition is  not only with the addiction to the nicotine, but the way in which the practice becomes habitual (Herzog et al, 2011). It has also been noted that a key determinant  in the way cession may occur is reliant on motivations of those seeking to give up smoking (Herzog et al, 2011; Munoz et al, 2011). It is with this need  in mind that a new product has been developed, to aid with the cessation of smoking. This report outlines the development of a new product that will help smokers quit.  The initial markets are Greece and Namibia. The report will look at the product, then assess the markets with SWOT analysis before looking at the distribution strategy and the financial  projections. 2. Product Description The new product is a product combined with a service adapting strategies which have proven beneficial for other health strategies such as dieting and giving  up alcohol; psychological support. The product is made up of a nicotine patch and counselling in a group setting, the first deals with the physical aspects of breaking the addiction,  the second provides support for dealing with the psychological aspects of the addiction. The price paid is a weekly or monthly subscription which covers the cost of the patches and
