    Identifying Information The purpose of this paper is to provide a psychological evaluation, and propose treatment  goals, for a sixteen year old black juvenile, Jeff Thompson. Although Thompson is sixteen years old he has not progressed beyond the tenth grade. Up until two month  ago Thompson lived with his mother and two brothers. He is the youngest of the children with one brother only one year older than him and the other brother  age twenty-one. Thompson is presently in a residential juvenile justice program for grand theft.  Past History Thompsons past history includes criminal mischief and assault and battery. Interestingly the patients first criminal offenses manifested just  eighteen months ago. While in his family home he had numerous relational problems. Many of his behavioral problems, in fact, can be speculated to be inheritable. One  older brother is schizophrenic (drug induced) and, according to the mother, the father is ill with an undiagnosed mental problem. Although the mother was not abusive she was continuously  accused by Thompson of "bringing up things about the past" and constantly excited the patients explosive temper. Prior to his incarceration, Thompsons brothers beat him regularly.  The Problem In addition to his recent criminal activity  Thompson evidences severe emotional and behavioral problems. These problems are, in part, contributed to by his family and peers. The purpose of this paper is to document the
