many people today. QUESTION #1: HERMAPRODITES It is a known biological fact that babies can be born with both male and female sexual organs. There was a time  when if the sex organ of a male baby was too small, he was "penectomized" (Laurent PG) and changed into a girl such as with the case of a male  baby in 1963 at John Hopkins Institute. Likewise, if a girl had an oversized female organ she was surgically altered to become a male. It is now known that  it is not the outer genitalia that necessarily are the sole force in determining whether a person is female or male. Ultimately the 1963 baby, who had been re-assigned  as a female, refused to go through any more surgeries to correct the genitals into becoming more female - and at age 14 went to another hospital to have corrective  surgery to be made a male again.
