set of interviews on ones self , and of a student of a different race, might be conducted. Questions are asked and answered in respect to how such interviews might  go. Subjects are black and Hispanic. Bibliography lists 5 sources. SA145rac.rtf A student who is an American  citizen of Hispanic descent, is assigned the task of interviewing an African American. In doing so, the student must develop a variety of questions to ask of someone who is  of the designated background. The questions should be asked to ones self as well as the interviewee. Then, both interviews are to be compared. There are four questions which will  be asked in each of the interviews. The interview with the African American might go as follows: Hispanic Student: How has your race affected your life?  African American: I think it has affected every aspect of my life. When I am in a store, I am immediately suspect. I cannot go anywhere without feeling as  if I am in the minority. Hispanic Student: Name four ways or instances in which your race has  worked against you and for you. African American: One, it has worked against me because I am in the minority and I am automatically suspect. Two, it  works against me in terms of getting a job. A couple of ways it works for me, on the other hand, is that it enables me to see the world  through another perspective. It also works for me as I feel that there are tighter bonds within my community. I have a subculture to identify with.
