Though there are other companies in this particular marketplace, these two companies are  the head-to-head competitors. In this paper, well take on the role of director of strategic planning for both organizations, and develop a full SWOT analysis. Well then discuss a strategy  explaining how Makatume can handle a higher voltages issue, which is something it is facing in the marketplace. Well highlight the opportunities  and threats for both companies, as theyre competing in the same industry. Then well break out the answers below for the specific strengths and weaknesses, and what needs to happen  strategically to correct the weaknesses. Opportunities Growing demand for power tools, especially professional-grade tools. The more consumers who get into the market,  the more they want the best in tools. Technology and growth in the cordless sector. The technology of the battery efficiency is  progressing, meaning more tools are available, and can be used for longer periods of time.
