In order  to bring about change on this issue within a workplace environment, a workshop could be designed that focuses on these two needs. This writer/tutor selected this topic because it  has been extensively addressed in nursing literature, and also, in this writers judgment, derived from the literature, it seems quite likely that any problem with nurses absenteeism is likely to  be due to overwork and burnout.
