Over the years, decades, centuries
and even millenniums, there have been a number of proposals as to what
could be done to end world hunger. This 5 page paper proposes that
Swift, in The Modest Proposal, uses irony to beguile the reader into
agreeing to the logic of the most ghastly of proposals for the purpose
of eventual rejection of economic stratification, religious prejudice
and the tyranny of subjugation inherent in the Imperialistic practices
