The paper takes the perspective of a constant and first considers why there may have been the use of a team in the first place and the benefits of teams and then looks at the way in which the events would have crated the low trust environment.     a great deal of work, the findings and suggestion of the team were completely dismissed, in line with the beliefs of one of the more sceptical team members prediction. The  team appear to have gelled well, created unity and delivered the required output, but now they are suffering from a lack of trust, having out a great deal of effort  into the team and the teamwork being disregarded. To look at this from a consultants perspective, we need to consider aspects of teamwork and formation as well as the  way in which motivations and the employment relationship can be managed. We also need to consider why it was that there was the use of a team in the first  place. There appears to have been a need for change or innovation of some sort, and this is often achieved with the use of teams. There are many theories that  abound regarding the way the innovation many be best achieved. Some argue that teamwork is the key, with a good integration and cross department team being present (Flemming and Koppleman,  1996, Handy, 1997). However, others argue that there is a need for a lone developer, or for a champion or leader in a team that has the inspirations and ideas.  Other elements may include their access to resources, the team dynamics, the way in which the team or individual are perceived by the company as well as peers, and even  their past results. It may still be argued than in a limited number of instances the single approach may be better, however  there are also issues such as bounded rationality, as well as the boundaries of labour and work that can be gained form a single person, indicating that trams can, at
