By looking at some of the practices  the meeting of these criteria can be evaluated. There are quarterly meetings with managers where there is information shared and financial data is published and circulated monthly. The commitment  to the goals may also be seen with the use of the managers teaching at TechSmart University. New philosophies may also be seen with the adoption of new approaches  and tools such as six sigma and the Baldridsge criteria. The understanding of the purpose of inspection and improvement can be seen not only in the adoption of Six Sigma  which is usually seen as a TQM tool, but also in the way all members of staff at taught a five step problem solving process. The development of point  4, on how contracts are awarded and the need to look to longer term relationships is seen with the way that suppliers are involved in the development of inputs at  the early stages, this can only be achieved where there are long term relationships. The constant improvement is seen with the Six Sigma, as well as the way there are  numerous methods of collecting measurement data from quality, the staff and the customers and the personal role played by the vice president is resolving any customer complaints. There is the  university and an average of 72 hours worth of training for each employee. Leadership is seen with the use of self managing teams as this develops leadership skills and  the way senior managers go to meetings where they develop their own objectives and works to support the teams and the objectives. The use of self managing teams increases
