    due to the number of companies that have been moving call centres to India due to the lower overall running costs. Compmaoes such as Dell and Powergen are two examples.  However, there are still many companies offering call centre services closer to home, for example the MM Group, established more than 50 years ago, offers quality call centre  services and counts the National Blood Service and Sainsburys among their clients. This does not mean the company has a secure and unaffected macro environment, but does indicate that the  future of call centres does not need to reside exclusively in poorer countries. The MM Group is one of the largest call centre operations, with offices in Bangor, Bristol,  Asby de la Zouch, and Cardiff (MM Group, 2004). They offer services that are available twenty four hours a day and are able to accept incoming calls or make  telemarketing calls (MM Group, 2004). Along with this there are also a range of complimentary services, such as database management which includes database cleaning, personalisation and analysis and profiling, printing  and mailing services, internet and e-commerce solutions, the provision of customer surveys using their own programme called Option 8, and list broking (MM Group, 2004). To examine this  large and diverse company we can use a PESTLE and a SWOT analysis. In PESTLE analysis there is an analysis of the political, economic social technological, legal and environmental concerns.  These are seen as separate factors, but there will be overlaps in terms of the way that they impact. Political Influences The company is located in the UK.  This means that the general political environment is impacted b both UK politics as well as European politics. On May 1st 2004 the EU was enlarged to from fifteen members
